7.Conclusiones, Recomendaciones y Trabajos Futuros

7.1Conclusiones


Una gran parte de la motivación para el desarrollo de este proyecto nació de la necesidad de demostrar que en Colombia podemos crear aplicaciones competitivas con el mercado mundial, creo que la gran mayoría nos hemos acostumbrado a depender de lo que pueden hacer otras personas y empresas en países desarrollados, y a pesar de que no se ajustan totalmente a nuestras necesidades nos adaptamos y nos resignamos a lo que nos encontramos en el mercado.

Nuestra formación como ingenieros nos prepara para crear nuevas cosas y utilizar nuestro ingenio para mejorar las condiciones actuales en las que vivimos; en nuestro caso particular por medio de la informática y la tecnología.

El resultado de este proyecto se puede resumir como el ejercicio de la labor de ingeniería para crear nuevos productos, apoyada por conceptos administrativos y financieros que permiten entender, analizar y enfrentar las condiciones del mercado. Como herramienta, el plan de negocios no solamente permitió estructurar y planear la operación de la empresa y evaluar su viabilidad financiera, sino que permitió identificar oportunidades en el mercado que se pueden explotar y reconocer el potencial de los usuarios Colombianos para los que podemos desarrollar y vender aplicaciones móviles que se ajusten a nuestro contexto.

7.2Recomendaciones


Como ingenieros de sistemas no somos expertos en el desarrollo de planes de negocio, sin embargo podemos utilizar herramientas de software como Business Plan Pro para facilitar esta labor. Me parece importante que la universidad invierta en licencias de este software que permitan a los estudiantes desarrollar más fácilmente su espíritu emprendedor.

7.3Trabajos Futuros


Este plan de negocios solo marca el inicio de una gran colección de actividades necesarias para sacar adelante a Mithril Apps Studio. Cada una de las estrategias plasmadas en este documento deben ponerse en práctica para determinar su efectividad, así mismo van a estar sujetas a constantes modificaciones y reestructuraciones. Sin embargo es el punto de partida ideal para mantener claros los objetivos y metas del negocio.

8.1Metodología propuesta vs. Metodología realmente utilizada.


Durante la ejecución del proyecto se siguieron las metodologías propuestas en el documento de propuesta del trabajo de grado. Afortunadamente no fue necesario realizar ajustes metodológicos y recomiendo lo propuesto para trabajos de grado de emprendimiento futuros.

8.2Actividades propuestas vs. Actividades realizadas.


Las actividades propuestas fueron suficientes para el correcto desarrollo del plan de negocios, sin embargo los recursos tenidos en cuenta para la fase de desarrollo del prototipo no fueron los suficientes para lograr un estado funcional de la aplicación como era esperado.

8.3Efectividad en la estimación de tiempos del proyecto


Desafortunadamente la estimación de los tiempos del proyecto durante la etapa de propuesta no fue del todo respetada durante la ejecución del proyecto.

Situaciones ajenas al mismo no permitieron un seguimiento juicioso de los tiempos, por lo que fue necesaria la solicitud de una prorroga para poder completar las actividades propuestas para la elaboración del plan de negocios.
